LEDAS Signs Contracts with Billion-Dollar US FirmsNovosibirsk, Russia: December 2, 2020 — LEDAS Ltd., a provider of software research and development (R&D) services for the engineering software market, announced today that it had signed long-term agreements with two California-based corporations.
The contracts focus on two important areas in the LEDAS portfolio: digital medicine and innovations in computer-aided manufacturing (CAM). The agreements, which last at least three years, each feature work volumes exceeding 100 person-years. Both customers are global companies traded on New York Stock Exchange and have annual revenues of over a billion U.S. dollars.
The two contracts are the largest ever for LEDAS in these areas of expertise, and are at the same level as the twelve-year-long agreement with Dassault Systemes, in which LEDAS developed key computation engines for CATIA. The new contracts match the size of a large bilding information modeling (BIM) agreement LEDAS has with an Asia investment group. LEDAS in the past few weeks also signed a two-year R&D contract with a well-known CAD software company.
At the same time, LEDAS updated its project completion insurance with coverage of a million USD per case. The insurance policy covers several types of liabilities, from IP and professional risks, to general commercial and employer liabilities. All LEDAS customers are covered by expanded insurance protection as of November, 2020. This is yet another competitive advantage for LEDAS, in addition to its highly qualified team of programmers and over 20 years experience in carrying out ambitious software projects.

Non-disclosure agreements signed with customers prevent LEDAS from disclosing the names of some clients and details of the scopes of work.
