ODA Releases Vertical SDKs for Drawings 2020.dwg-based verticals for Architecture, Civil, and MechanicalScottsdale, AZ: July 1st, 2019 – Open Design Alliance (ODA), leading provider of CAD interoperability and component technology, announced today the release of a suite of SDKs for vertical application development using .dwg. The suite includes solutions for Architecture, Civil and Mechanical.
“Our vertical solutions provide a set of smart objects designed to simplify workflows in their respective disciplines,” commented Neil Peterson, ODA President. “For example, Architecture contains objects for doors, windows, walls, and so on, which can be used to quickly create high-quality architectural applications. Each vertical SDK includes support for data access, visualization, content creation, and editing, extending the core functionality of our industry-standard Drawings SDK for .dwg.”
Sergey Vishnevetsky, ODA Development Director, said, “In addition, we are actively developing a fourth vertical solution in the area of mapping, which will be compatible with .dwg files created by AutoCAD® Map 3D. Our Map vertical will be available by the end of this year.”
ODA vertical solutions run on Windows, Mac, Linux and popular mobile platforms. Free 60-day trial versions are available. The SDKs and release notes can be downloaded from www.opendesign.com.
