CAE Fidesys Now Available in Autodesk Exchange Apps Store

CAE Fidesys for Autodesk Inventor helps users perform fast and accurate strength analysis using modern computational methods

Russia, Moscow (February 14, 2014)Fidesys LLC has launched its next-generation CAE Fidesys on the Autodesk Exchange Apps store for Autodesk Inventor. CAE Fidesys is an easy-to-use and effective tool for performing a full cycle of engineering-strength analysis including loading a CAD mode and its analysis, meshing, setting loads and material mechanical properties, selecting and setting a FEM-solver, model calculation, and results visualization.

The Autodesk Exchange Apps store is a portal to the Autodesk Inventor software ecosystem, providing access to add-ins that allows designers to find and immediately download solutions to some of their more pressing design challenges, specifically engineering strength analysis. Autodesk Exchange Apps include apps for 15 Autodesk products including AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk 3ds Max and Autodesk Maya. Customers access The Autodesk Exchange Apps store both directly on the Web and from within Autodesk products, making it a highly convenient resource.

The new CAE Fidesys 1.4 allows performing linear and nonlinear static and dynamic strength analysis of 2D and 3D solids, solving buckling and thermomechanical problems.

“We welcome Fidesys LLC as a participant in the Autodesk Exchange Apps store – the CAE Fidesys is a great example of the range of valuable add-ins easily available to customers from within the design and engineering products they use every day,” said Jim Quanci, Senior Director of the Autodesk Developer Network. “The CAE Fidesys is a full function CAE with a unique feature of spectral element modeling (SEM), offering highly accurate results and more robust functionality to all Autodesk customers in the industry who rely on Autodesk Inventor for their design projects. I personally visited Fidesys LLC office in Science park of Lomonosov Moscow State University and was impressed by the team of researchers (10 of them hold doctorates in their fields) and developers who create this innovative solution sometimes even out-of-working hours”.
